Other key areas for UHV mitigation include innovative design and planning practices, the cooling effects of green and blue infrastructure and ecosystems, and advances in remote sensing.
The study, led by Fei Li from QUT's City 4.0 Lab in the School of Architecture and Built Environment, is believed to be the first to analyze more than 2000 peer-reviewed papers in UHV research published from the 1970s to the 2020s. The article "Understanding Urban Thermal Vulnerability: A Scientometric Analysis of Five Decades of Research" is published in the journal Urban Climate .
