TRAVELERS ARE REALLY NOT INTERESTED IN SUSTAINABILITY

Any aviation enthusiast or industry expert will tell you that when it comes to the environment, buyers are liars. The most obvious and glaring example is consumer behavior in relation to carbon offset projects. The idea is that guilt-trippers will spend a little extra cash to offset their carbon footprint through environmental initiatives. To reduce the greenhouse gas emissions caused by their travel, they can purchase CO2 offset credits that plant trees to offset the amount of carbon used along the way.
