WHO/EU statement: Heat can be deadly without preparation

In a statement, the WHO Regional Director for Europe, Hans Henri P. Kluge, calls for preparations to avoid deaths related to the heat waves that hit many regions in Europe in July. In addition to immediate steps to protect yourself and others, longer-term measures are urgently needed in Europe.
