How are scope 1, 2, 3 emissions categorized?

In general, Scope 3 categorizes a company's emissions based on whether the source of emissions is under control  company or not. According to this assumption, Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions fall under the company's control, and Scope 3 is emissions that occur outside the company's control, both before and after the company's operations.

Another categorization, which applies to scope emissions (Scope) 1, 2, 3, refers to the source emissions . Direct emissions belong to scope 1 of the company and indirect emissions are classified as scope 2 and 3 depending on the activity. (SOFIA PYRGIOTI, carbon cloud)
