The incidence of dengue fever has increased dramatically worldwide in recent decades. The disease is now endemic in more than 100 countries and is spreading to non-endemic regions such as Europe, with the threat of explosive outbreaks. This ISTM webinar discusses the differences in dengue epidemiology between endemic and non-endemic regions, summarizes recent outbreaks in European countries, and recognizes the threats posed by climate change and dengue in non-endemic regions.
